With summer slowly coming to an end we wanted to look back on the projects released during the May – August months and see which one stood out among the rest. With albums dropping from artists like Tyler, The Creator, Future, Chris Brown, Yung Bans, Jaden Smith and Young Thug it was a summer full of great new music and pushing musical boundaries.
Among these summer released albums is one that didn’t get quite the recognition it deserved.

Debuting at #107 on the Billboard 200, Pi’erre Bourne’s ‘The Life of Pierre 4’ is a project that brought all the sounds we know and love from smash hits like Playboi Carti’s Magnolia, but this time Pi’erre kept the best beats for himself.
From start to finish TLOP 4 is a vibe that can be kept on repeat with each respective song taking you through an audio rollercoaster. Every song rolls over into the next with a seamless transition that allows for the album to be enjoyed like a story. Pie’rre matched perfect autotune with self produced beats perfect for his voice and the result is a beautiful listening experience.
Our personal favorites from the record include Poof,
Be Mine
Racer
and Stereotypes
