Today via Instagram Young Nudy announced a new single titled “No Go” set to release at midnight. This is the first single release from Nudy’s upcoming album #Anyways , which he has been teasing since the beginning of December. He tells fans in the post, which includes a snippet of the song and a dope motion graphic, that he’s having been having fun with his music and that this song is “just a nibble” off his upcoming album.
Nudy tweeted on January 14th a graphic simply saying #ANYWAYS 2020 and has not revealed any more information regarding the potential date of the album’s release.
No Go’s midnight release tonight does indicate that the #Anyways album could be dropping within the next few weeks and months, many fans speculating that February is the likely month of the project’s release.
Nudy’s last album release came in the form of Sli’merre which was in collaboration with superstar producer Pi’erre Bourne and dropped in May of 2019 and has grown Nudy’s monthly Spotify streams to almost 2 million. Last night Young Nudy was up for a “Best Rap Performance” Grammy with his contribution to the track “Down Bad” with J. Cole, J.I.D and other Dreamville label members. Unfortunately he did not get the accolade due to Nipsey Hussle and Roddy Ricch stealing the show with “Racks in the Middle”.
Be sure to follow Young Nudy on Instagram and Twitter and also stream his new single “No Go” releasing 12AM midnight of January 28th. Be on the lookout for his upcoming album #Anyways and while you wait stream Sli’merre available now on all major streaming platforms.
